Prevent accidents caused by unrestrained external doors

External Door Restraints

Fitting External Door Restraints provides impact/collision protection for outwards opening doors on public buildings. It also ensures compliance with current health and safety guidelines as defined in Section 5 of Approved Document K.

External Door Restraints have other benefits such as reducing damage to doors opened forcefully or caught by the wind. The fitted rubber stopper also enables doors to be held open when needed.

Specification: 48mm diameter x 4mm wall steel tube construction, with mounting shroud for BLK 440 rubber stop/holdback unit. Finished in a Galvanised Polyester powder coat and available in all RAL colours. Designed to be concreted into ground at a depth of 300mm.
